Canadian avionics manufacturer, Anodyne Electronics Manufacturing (AEM), have announced a low impedance router option for its P139-HD Digital Audio System. The new equipment, the G13000RL router will allow low impedance headsets (5Ω/8Ω) to be used with the P139-HD which will enable that system to used for more military and special mission rotary applications.
“We were regularly approached by aircraft integrators and military operators active in training and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) applications looking for a dedicated low impedance solution,” said Tony
Weller, AEM’s Sales and Marketing Director speaking about the new system. “This new low impedance router now opens the door for more military and ISR operators to take advantage of this flexible and incredibly versatile mission communication system.”
The G13000RL supports up to 8 headset ports, 10 transceivers/18 receive only, and 12 extra keylines for special functions or operations of mission equipment. Its compact size makes it a space-saving solution and includes a 25W speaker driver. The audio router routes and mixes all aircraft audio from all sources controlled by the connected control panels and dictated by the mission and customer-specific unique installed configuration.
The AEM team will be demoing the new router during Verticon this week.
