The Hawk Duo recline economy seat from Mirus Aircraft Seating has been added to the Buyer Furnished Equipment (BFE) Catalogue for the Airbus A320 Family of aircraft. The lightweight seat can be selected directly during the aircraft cabin definition process from July 2026.
Hawk Duo is Mirus’ latest economy-class seat model, designed for both single aisle and twin-aisle aircraft. Mirus says the seat weighs from 8.5kg per PAX fully dressed (including synthetic seat covers and seatbelts), enabled by a simplified architecture and reduced parts count. Features include a 5-inch recline function.
The Hawk Duo joins Mirus’ Hawk Infinity reclining economy seat and Kestrel ultra-lightweight fixed-back economy seat in the Airbus BFE Catalogue.
