Sister carriers Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines have selected Kales Airline Services to provide GSSA services in the UK, Ireland and Italy.
The partnership will see Kales provide the two carriers with online agency services in the UK and Italy and offline services in Turkey, Ireland and India.
Kales said the new customer win marked a “significant milestone in the company’s continued international expansion”.
“This cooperation supports Alaska’s introduction of new daily transatlantic services between Seattle and key European cities,” Kales explained.
Alaska Airlines will launch daily flights between Rome and Seattle on 29 April, while daily flights between Seattle and London will begin on 21 May.
In the UK, Wexco, a fully owned subsidiary of the Kales Group, will represent Alaska Airlines.
Sebastiaan Scholte, chief executive of Kales Group, said: “This exciting new cooperation with Alaska and Hawaiian enables our group to significantly expand our network.
“It allows us to offer our customers more destinations not only across North America, but also onward connections to South Korea, Japan and Australia.”
Ian Morgan, vice president of cargo at Alaska Airlines, added: “Having Kales represent Alaska Airlines in these new markets will provide our customers a seamless experience when working with us.”
The carrier will utilise Boeing 787 aircraft on the routes.
In addition to their domestic US network, Alaska and Hawaiian Air Cargo serve 14 locations across Asia, the South Pacific, Canada and Mexico from its global gateways in Honolulu and Seattle.
Last month, it was revealed that PrimeFlight Cargo has been selected to handle cargo for Alaska Airlines’ new daily flights from Seattle to Heathrow.
