ATEQ Aviation has launched the AX7, its new-generation portable micro-ohmmeter designed to modernise aircraft bonding verification for OEMs, MROs and ground support teams.
Built on ATEQ’s Kelvin 4‑wire measurement technology, the AX7 delivers highly accurate, repeatable low‑resistance measurements – eliminating cable resistance errors and ensuring reliable bonding validation across composite and metallic structures.
The AX7 supports key bonding inspections including:
- Continuity checks on composite structures
- Verification of rivets, bonding straps and ground connections
- Static discharge path validation for lightning protection
Featuring a seven-inch touchscreen, PASS/FAIL LED probe indicators and three operating modes — Manual, Library and Sequence — the AX7 streamlines both troubleshooting and standardised inspection campaigns. Smart connectivity via Wi‑Fi, USB‑C and NEXUS software enables seamless data transfer and full traceability.
Other key highlights include:
- Modern, lightweight portable bonding tester
- High‑precision Kelvin 4‑wire measurement
- Faster, more consistent bonding validation
- Large touchscreen + PASS/FAIL LED indication
- Three inspection modes for flexible workflows
- Automatic data recording and smart connectivity
ATEQ Aviation’s AX7 sets a new benchmark for bonding test efficiency, accuracy and digital integration – helping aerospace manufacturers and MRO organisations strengthen confidence in critical bonding measurements.
The company will be exhibiting the AX7 at MRO Europe in Amsterdam from 27 to 29 October.
