Winnie Harlow—the America’s Next Top Model contestant turned global supermodel and entrepreneur—sold her modern farmhouse in the San Fernando Valley community of Tarzana in May 2024. At the time, she stated on her Instagram page that she was embarking on a “long-distance move” to start a new chapter, all the while remaining tight-lipped about her new digs.
The buyer of Harlow’s home was Zerina Akers, best known as Beyoncé’s personal stylist and for winning an Emmy Award for her costume design on the performer’s 2020 visual album “Black Is King.” Initially priced at nearly $3.7 million, Akers secured the spread for just over $3.6 million, about $300,000 more than Harlow had paid for the newly built home before.

Now, a little more than two years later—and following a stint as a rental property commanding as much as $30,000 a month—Akers has placed the property back on the market for $4.5 million, with Ciara Short of The Beverly Hills Estates handling the listing.
Set beyond gates on a third-acre parcel south of Ventura Boulevard, the two-story white wood-sided and black-trimmed structure was built in 2020. Five bedrooms and half a dozen bathrooms are spread across roughly 4,800 square feet, showcasing rich oak floors, detailed crown molding, and designer lighting. A full array of smart-home technologies adds to the mix.

A long walkway leads past a small lawn and an attached two-car garage on its way to a portico entryway, with a dramatic black front door opening directly to a coffer-ceilinged living and dining area anchored by a linear fireplace. From there, a fireside family room complete with a custom wet bar and a wine closet adjoins an eat-in kitchen outfitted with stone countertops, premium Thermador appliances, and a breakfast nook with built-in bench seating.
A wrought iron-railed staircase heads up to the posh primary suite, which features a fireplace, a private balcony, dual walk-in closets—one a dedicated glam room, and the other filled with built-ins—as well as a stone-clad bath spotlighted by a steam shower and a soaking tub. The remaining bedrooms each have their own en suite baths, while the hedged and fenced backyard hosts a pool with a Baja shelf and a spillover spa, several patios, a barbecue area, and a fire pit.
