HeliSpeed Academy has appointed aviation services company 2B-S as its exclusive European sales representative, supporting the expansion of its specialised helicopter training programmes across Europe. The appointment takes immediate effect, with 2B-S leading engagement with helicopter operators, training organisations and aviation authorities across Europe to expand access to HeliSpeed’s training capabilities.
2B-S will promote and support the delivery of HeliSpeed’s advanced operational training services, including:
- Night Vision Goggle (NVG) / Night Vision Imaging System (NVIS) training
- Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) training
- Crew Resource Management (CRM) training
- Helicopter crew coordination training
- Scenario-based simulator training
- Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS) operational training
The partnership combines HeliSpeeds expertise in high-fidelity helicopter simulation and mission-focused training with 2B-S’s established relationships across the European rotorcraft sector.
Commenting on the announcement, Geoff Packer, CEO of HeliSpeed Academy, said demand for advanced operational training continues to grow across the region. “Helicopter operations are becoming increasingly complex, particularly in areas such as HEMS, offshore operations and night flying. Partnering with 2B-S strengthens our engagement with operators across Europe and helps ensure crews have access to the high-quality training needed to operate safely in demanding environments.”
While Tobias Seidl, spokesperson for 2B-S, added: “We are delighted to support the expansion of HeliSpeed’s training programmes across Europe. Their focus on realistic, operationally driven training aligns closely with the needs of modern helicopter operators.”
HeliSpeed’s programmes are designed for commercial operators, HEMS providers, government agencies and specialist mission operators, with a focus on improving crew coordination, decision-making and operational readiness.
HeliSpeed Academy integrates advanced simulator training into both initial pilot training and specialised operational programmes. Its simulator is approved for Night Vision Goggle (NVG) training, allowing crews to practise complex mission scenarios and emergency procedures in a safe, high-fidelity environment.
