Waymo has become the official autonomous ride-hailing partner of the Las Vegas Raiders and Allegiant Stadium.
The partnership will provide Waymo riders traveling to the stadium with a dedicated pickup and drop-off area, supported by wayfinding signage for games, concerts and other major events.
“Fans come to Allegiant to experience once-in-a-lifetime moments, and getting in that mindset all begins and ends with the journey,” said Sandra Douglass Morgan, president of the Las Vegas Raiders. “Partnering with Waymo reflects our drive to lead the industry in innovation and provide fans with the best experience. Most importantly, it gives them a safe, reliable autonomous designated driver so they can focus entirely on enjoying the event.”
“Waymo has a proven track record of moving fans safely to and from the world’s biggest sports and entertainment events,” added Waymo chief marketing officer Suzanne Philion. “We’re bringing that same convenient and magical autonomous experience to the heart of Raider Nation, building strong community relationships in Las Vegas well beyond game day.”
