Your next great residential love might be found on the seas.
Oasis Meu, the Croatian startup founded by naval architect Maja Regjo in 2020, has unveiled a new version of its Amor floating home. The aptly named Amor II builds on the original prototype launched in Croatia in 2023, but is both more refined and better suited to production.
The watertop residences, which Oasis Meu calls “Watersuites,” combine innovative marine tech with contemporary design, thereby giving owners the comfort of a traditional home and the freedom of a yacht. The first Amor was a bespoke steel prototype built to be tested out in real-world conditions. It has informed the second generation, with improvements in construction, engineering, design, and autonomy making it more commercially viable.
“The first prototype taught us an enormous amount,” Regjo said in a statement. “Amor II is the result of applying those lessons directly to the product, from the way it is constructed and engineered to how it functions as a living space.”

Amor II introduces composite construction and a mold-based production approach, meaning it can be built at scale with greater consistency. The 39-foot hull has been refined, and the conventional outboard engines have been replaced with an integrated electric propulsion system that is quieter and more environmentally friendly. The rooftop solar panels generate energy that is stored in a battery bank integrated into the bottom of the hull. That clean, green energy is then used to power two 15 kW electric motors and the hotel load, enabling true off-grid living.
The energy and water-management systems have also been upgraded to provide greater autonomy and independence from the shore. The Amor II is, therefore, suitable for private owners and/or hospitality operators, resorts, and marinas around the world.
Onboard, the revamped interior layout includes a redesigned kitchen, an updated primary suite on the upper deck, an additional guest cabin on the lower deck, and greater storage. Spanning roughly
754 square feet, the living quarters showcase more refined materials and finishes than the original, resulting in a more elevated feel throughout. Large glazed sections and wide sliding doors connect the interior to the exterior terraces—one of which is outfitted with a Jacuzzi and a ladder to the water.
“Amor II brings us closer to what Watersuite was always intended to become: a new way to live and stay on the water that combines privacy, comfort, and a much closer connection to nature,” Regjo adds.
The first Amor II is currently in production, with delivery expected in early 2027.
