Rotortrade, the global helicopter dealership, has appointed Raymond Lubrano (pictured) as Managing Director of RotorLease, its dedicated global helicopter leasing and asset finance platform.
The appointment marks the next stage in the development of Rotortrade’s financing activities and the expansion of RotorLease across international markets.
As Managing Director, Lubrano (pictured) will oversee the development and management of RotorLease, including capital deployment, aircraft investment, debt financing, transaction structuring, credit and counterparty assessment, asset and portfolio management, and relationships with operators, lenders and financial partners.
He said: “Our ambition is to build RotorLease into a disciplined and scalable global helicopter leasing and asset finance platform, combining deep asset expertise with a rigorous approach to investment, credit and financing. We will focus on high-quality, liquid helicopter platforms, prudent capital structures and strong operator relationships, with particular attention to long-term asset value and portfolio resilience. Rotortrade gives us a significant advantage through its global market intelligence, technical capabilities and proven ability to source, manage and remarket helicopter assets. By combining these capabilities with long-term banking and financial partnerships, our objective is to provide operators with flexible financing solutions while building a diversified and resilient portfolio.”
Prior to this appointment, Raymond Lubrano served as Rotortrade Executive Vice President, Head of Region LATAM, based in Mexico, where he led Rotortrade’s commercial development and regional expansion across Latin America, strengthening its market presence, strategic partnerships and customer relationships. Under his leadership, the region achieved several important milestones, including the landmark sale and delivery of the first Airbus H160 in Argentina and the Southern Cone to Helipatagonia in April 2026. This transaction demonstrated Rotortrade’s ability to manage complex international aircraft transactions, coordinating commercial, technical and regulatory requirements across multiple countries and stakeholders.
Philippe Lubrano, founder & CEO of Rotortrade, said: “RotorLease is an important part of the finance pillar we have been building within Rotortrade. With the platform now operational, Raymond’s appointment provides dedicated leadership for its next phase of development. His mandate will be to build a disciplined and diversified portfolio, deploy capital efficiently, deepen relationships with operators, lenders and financial partners, and ensure that our leasing activities remain closely connected to Rotortrade’s broader commercial and technical capabilities.”
